The Sponsorship Business Development Manager role is predominantly phone-based with some face-to-face sales involved, and also onsite client management at the events your clients are sponsoring. Coupled with your commercial sales experience, you will be trained to use a world class consultative solution sales methodology and be responsible for identifying prospective customers via targeted lead research and work towards KPI’s. You will be tasked with developing a continuous pipeline of qualified opportunities and selling to commercial solutions providers across different industries while controlling the sales process from open to close (learn how to). You will have direct influence on writing your own pay cheque!
You have 1-2 years of commercial sales experience in a B2B new business development role where you have sold adverstising or marketing solutions to decision makers with job titles such as Head of Sales, Head of Marketing and Head of Business Development. You are articulate, well spoken, have exceptional communication skills and are a competitive, self-motivated, goal oriented person with a driven attitude. You operate well on your own but also enjoy receiving training and feedback to help you achieve targets and goals.
